I love art, I love colour, shapes, textures and light. I even thought of being an Interior Designer at one stage so I could be up to my knees in colourful fabrics and amazing furniture, etc. But, instead I chose to have a family and change the interior of my home frequently…while my husband was out…he got used to it!
Anyway, Inkywool was born in 2013 where I started with soft furnishings and then discovered the art form of paper cutting and enjoyed it so much that I concentrated on butterflies as they absolutely fascinate me from their life cycle to their colour brilliance.
You can see some of my work displayed at Trebah Garden, Mawnan Smith, Falmouth and you may see the odd one or two when you’re out and about in other little outlets, but my main siting will be at market stalls which will be listed on my ‘homepage’.
My pictures are always evolving but If you cannot see exactly what you want on my website email me to discuss anything from just changing the colours to your very own design.
I do hope you enjoy my work – no two pictures are quite the same.
